200mm SERIES GRINDER UNITS
This versatile heavy duty 3000rpm host unit can be manufactured to accept various work station configurations, namely grinder/grinder, grinder/side grinder, grinder/polisher and grinder/wire brusher. Ideal for use within the educational or industrial workshop environment.
This 200mm grinder unit can be fixed to a bench top or can be ordered mounted to a pedestal or dust extractor of your choice.
All models are fitted with heavy duty work station guarding and equipped with spark deflectors, eye shield protection and adjustable work rests. Sealed for life bearings with standard size consumable media. The rolled cage motor module accommodates work station variants.
Electrical controls are no volt release with thermal overload contactors, supplied with either single or three phase motor drives (0.75Kw, 1 HP, 50/60Hz). Note, machines running at 60Hz will have the spindle speed increased by 20%, therefore grinding wheels must be speed rotated accordingly.
Grinding spindles are 20mm diameter, however the wheel plates accept 31.75mm grinding wheels. Polisher models have ‘pigtail’ spindles (taper thread style). Generally brushers are fitted with 19mm plain diameter spindles however some clients utilise the ‘pigtail’ spindle as per the polisher set up. To reduce vibration potential, we recommend plain spindles for wire brushing.
Guarding is supplied with or without extraction ports, to be specified at time of order.
